Do you eat cookies regularly at the study association Inter-Actief? And do you maintain a credit at the cookie jar? And do you own a Windows Mobile 6 device? Then there’s now a very easy tool for you: the Inter-Actief Cookie Counter!
This application allows you to add up to 6 different types of cookies and set your credit. Everytime you eat a cookie of some sort, you simply choose ‘Eat’ and the type of cookie eaten. The program then calculates how many credit you have left and how much cookies you can eat of each sort.
However, this program does not contain any sort of calorie calculator. Therefore, it does not prevent overweight due to excessive cookie consumption.

Installing the Cookie Counter requires you to download the .NET Compact Framework 3.5, which can be downloaded from the website of Microsoft. Most programs require this framework, so installing this version also increases compatability for other applications. You should download this file to your desktop, connect your device using ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center and launch the installer.
After installation, you should copy the CAB-file containing Cookie Counter to your device and launch it. After this installation, you can find Cookie Counter in your device’s Programs folder. If you start Cookie Counter for the first time, it will create the settings file. By default, your balance is 0.00 and there are no cookies set.
Updating or removing the Cookie Counter should not wipe any settings or your balance. If you want to uninstall Cookie Counter, you should go to Settings – System – Remove Programs and select ‘Inter-Actief Cookie Counter’. Optionally, you might also want to delete the file found at /Program Files/Cookie Counter/settings.xml (and the whole directory of Cookie Counter). Removing this file will erase your balance and your settings.
When a new settings file is created, your balance is set to 0 and all cookies will be disabled. Adding cookies can be done in the application by entering the main menu and selecting ‘Options’. Here, you can enter six cookie types with their price. Suggested cookie types are: Cookie 25ct, Pink cookie 30ct, Sultana etc. 40ct, Crisps 25ct, Chocolate 40ct, Cup-a-Soup / Golden Power 30ct.
You can change your balance by entering ‘Change credit’. You can enter your balance manually in cents, or click one of the add buttons. Your balance can be somewhere between -999.99 and 9999.99.
When eating a cookie, you simply select ‘Eat’ and click the type of cookie. If only one type of cookie is set, you simply click ‘Eat’. Your balance should be updated and the program recalculates the number of cookies you can eat with this balance.
If your currency symbol is incorrect, please correct this in your localization settings (Main Menu – Settings – System – Regional Settings). The decimal seperator is also retrieved from here.

Eindelijk een digitale manier om mijn krediet te managen! Het zou trouwens geniaal zijn om statistieken te hebben van je koekjesconsumptie
